Stuart Daulman: The 10 Funniest Things I’ve Ever Seen (on the Internet) | Comedy

Hey internet, it’s me, Stuart Daulman. I know we’ve been together a long time, and wow, what a time it’s been. It’s just… you’ve changed. Which, really changed. I remember when things were simple when I had to make time with you by making sure the landline phone was free. You were just a source of information and entertainment back then, and you did not take everything I said, saw and subscribe, to use it against me or make me spend time and money.

And now you are so… available. I would like to say that I have moved on, but we both know that this is not the end. I’m back on my devices in no time, rolling away thoughtlessly. It is an endless cycle and there is nothing we can do about it. I love you, internet, and I think it’s time for us to take this relationship further. Let’s move in together – I just applied for a two bedroom house in the Reservoir with a lovely backyard. It’s going to be good.

1. Brandbil – Dame Da Ne Baka Mitai

This little beauty was sent to me by my humorous friend Jade. We have previously collaborated on a lot of projects, mostly I think because we appreciate that kind of thing. It’s shocking, funny and silly. It’s a truck and it’s singing. Nothing matters. (And the rider did not die.)

2. Come by – Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job

This is a sketch of karaoke singing from one of the most inspiring comedy duos of the last 20 years. It’s a really beautiful song that you can ask for for karaoke nights (like I’ve done before). If you sing well, you will be sure to impress your friends and maybe meet the person you dream of. Who knows?

3. This possessed singing trout

I found this on a deep YouTube trip a while ago and have never looked back. From start to finish, this video will make you ROFLere all the way to the bank – the laughter bank. Next, thanks!

4. Will never hit these tones

Let’s face it, folks, we’ve all been Rick Rolled once or twice, but let’s step back for a moment and actually appreciate this song and how special it really is. And like the best organic materials, a meme can be recycled forever.

5. This fake Bunnings ad

Xavier Michelides has long been one of my favorite comedians. His standup pieces are infamous, and this sketch with face change he made is so funny. It’s super silly and it’s to be celebrated.

6. Kings of Leon – Shred

It’s so crazy, I’ve seen Kings of Leon live for a concert before, and I remember they were a lot better than this. They must have had an off night. Regardless of this misstep, I’m still a fan. Especially of their older stuff that was never slaughtered by the sea of traditional radios that pepper our golden landscape.

7. Ainsley Harriott exe

I want to be the first to admit – the internet is a strange place. Strange, but also wonderful. Here is an edit by the famous TV chef Ainsley Harriott who is making something delicious for us. That is it …

8. Kyle Mooney: A SoCal brother shares his feelings

Kyle Mooney is really funny. This was made before he made it on SNL. Brigsby Bear is also a really good independent film that is a lot of fun, silly and makes you happy. Check it out.

9. The interstellar soundtrack

Nothing necessarily funny about this video. I just chose it to recognize one of the best soundtracks that has ever been produced, for a film that is very close to me. We’re not far from Interstellar soon becoming a reality, so why not zone out – and prepare for the future, because it’s coming much faster than we think.

10. This 10-hour video of Gandalf dancing

Do you ever go to your local electronics store and read the computer section? Check the “About this Mac” tab? I certainly do. And this is the perfect video to fully test a computer’s capabilities. It has a catchy melody and a familiar face. Side note: this is also a banger you can wear to a party and see how long it plays before people notice it. Harmless pranks on your friends are cool; it really helps strengthen the relationship, and after the last few years we’ve had, it’s just what we all need.

Stuart Daulman is performing his show haha on July 21st at Comedy Republic in Melbourne. He also runs YESYESYES, a monthly comedy night at the Motley Bauhaus in Carlton. You can also follow him on Instagram and Twitter at @stu_what for updates and stupid stuff
