Mitry Attorney Richard Mitry says Amber Heard’s options are to either pay the full amount the court has ordered her ex-husband Johnny Depp, “go bankrupt” or appeal.
His remarks come after a Virginia judge denied the actress her bid for a new trial, after Ms Heard’s legal team claimed that one of the jurors, jurors 15 who were to serve in the trial, was replaced by another.
“This is a potential appeal,” Mr Mitry told Sky News Australia.
“She can do it now that the retry has failed, it would be an appeal to a higher court to test what she would see was wrong in the original hearing.
“Whether she does or not, we’ll see soon.”
