Francine Lewis has forgiven her “cheating” husband Joel Ryan and confirmed that the 22-year-old couple will not divorce.
The Britain’s Got Talent comedian, 46, accused Joel of betraying her on live TV in April, saying she was ‘devastated’ after discovering the father of her two children had been playing with her best friend’s partner.
After promising she would never go back to Joel, 43, Francine revealed to MailOnline Thursday night that the couple have reconciled and even went on a romantic vacation together in May to Venice, where they resolved their disagreements.
‘I did not think right’: Francine Lewis has forgiven her ‘cheating’ husband Joel Ryan and confirmed that the 22-year-old couple will not divorce
Francine said at Thursday’s London Lifestyle Awards: ‘At first that was what I thought. I thought I was telling it to everyone now because there is no going back and it helped me.
“But obviously I was not thinking straight, I was angry and I did not know all the details and facts at the time … it had just been 24 hours.
‘There were messages and no affair … I have no proof otherwise.’
In April, during an appearance on GB News to discuss fraud, Francine revealed: ‘Last night I found out he was cheating on me with his best friend’s girlfriend. I wish I had gone there and then because he put me in that situation and now he has put me in that situation. I am crushed.
‘I’m still in shock and I’m numb, but I’m going through it, I have to, I have two children.’

When she relived the moment she discovered Joel had been disloyal, Francine previously admitted that “I thought I would collapse”, she said “screamed” and called him all names.
She was sent stressful messages that led her to believe that Joel and the other woman, who is still unnamed, had slept together behind her back.
But she now says there was ‘no affair’ and has ‘no evidence’ that Joel had a sexual relationship with his friend’s partner – apart from the ‘gross’ text messages he sent back in March.
In a speech to the Daily Mail in April, she said: ‘When I read the texts he had sent her, I would throw up. I do not want to reveal what was in them – it is not fair to my children – but let’s just say they were enough for me to end my marriage. There was an intimate conversation, and there were also deleted text messages from him, so I can only imagine what was sent. ‘
